Album3D, created by 4AI, is a new way to experience your photos in immersive, interactive 3D — albums become 3D scenes you can move through, with switchable 3D layouts and a robust project system that can optionally package everything into a single .album3d file. Future releases will add 3D worlds and game‑like experiences that use your own photos.
Album3D is almost ready to launch.
Traditional digital albums have lived in flat grids and linear slideshows. Album3D changes that by placing your existing 2D photos inside an interactive 3D environment, so you can move through a scene built from your images instead of scrolling a static list.
What is Album3D?
With Album3D, each album becomes a 3D scene: your photos are shown as normal 2D images, but positioned in three-dimensional space with depth and perspective. The photos themselves don’t turn into 3D photos — it’s the layout and navigation that become spatial and immersive.
In the first version, you’ll be able to:
- Create 3D “albums” from photos you already have
- Switch between multiple 3D layouts and viewing angles
- Import, organize, and manage several albums from one place
- Preview your 3D scenes and adjust them before you share or present
The goal is to keep things approachable for everyday use, while still giving photographers and creators enough control to present their work the way they want.
Who Album3D is for
Album3D is especially suited to:
- Photographers who want a more engaging, interactive way to show their images
- Families and travelers who want to step back into moments, not just flip through thumbnails
- Studios and creators who need immersive 3D presentations for clients, galleries, or events
Behind the scenes, Album3D uses a structured project format. Each project can contain multiple albums, with their slides and related details. When you’re ready to share or archive, you can export everything into a single .album3d file.
Looking ahead
Once the initial release is out, we plan to extend the 3D side further with features like:
- Choosing from different 3D “worlds” or environments for your albums
- Using interactive 3D games where your own photos appear inside the game world
These 3D world and game selection options are planned for upcoming releases.
Launching July 2026
Right now we’re focused on polishing the experience and preparing the first public builds.
Album3D will be available in July. We’re excited for you to see how familiar photos feel when they’re arranged in 3D space instead of a flat grid.
